What is the difference between hook and pull in cricket?

When you hit a "Pull" shot, both the legs are on the ground, and the direction of the ball can be anything from flatter to the ground or going upwards, on the leg side. When you hit a "Hook" shot, your front leg is in the air, and the direction of the ball is going upwards probably behind the square leg.
